2017 Roundup

Cincinnati Wedding

filed in:

As 2017 comes to an end (not to sound cliche but seriously, how did this happen?!), we always love to look back at the previous season to remember the hottest wedding trends to hit Cincinnati over the past year.  Here are some of our favorites!

Focal Point King’s Tables
We started to see this trend pop up in 2016 but it seems like almost all of our clients this year opted for a grand king’s table for their bridal party and their dates to sit at during the reception.  We absolutely love this idea as it provides a gorgeous focal point as well as creates a cozy, family style feeling for the bridal party and their dates.

Massive Bridal Bouquets
We are totally in love with this trend and hope it is here to stay.  It seems like each wedding we did this year had a bigger bouquet than the previous wedding!  Go big or go home, right??

Thoughtful Ceremonies
We’ve seen much more emphasis on planning the wedding ceremony as in previous years.  Couples are more involved in the process of selecting an officiant as well as taking time to invest in pre-marital counseling.  It is so easy to get caught up in the craziness of planning the reception so we love that couples are taking time to invest in the future of their marriage.

On Point Paper Goods
It seems like our weddings this past year have stepped up their paper goods game and we are in love!!  We believe that the invitation suite is the perfect way to set the tone for the wedding.  It is the first glimpse that guests have into the wedding weekend.  Incorporating gorgeous stationary into the day with ceremony programs, menu cards, seating chart … etc is the perfect way to bring together your wedding design.
